Vika’s Wins (Developmental Delay)

When two year old Vika started her Doman Method Home Program, she had acute sensory hypersensitivities and had difficulty in balance and coordination in her movement. She could say a couple words of speech.

Within a year, Vika has made many gains! She can read independently in two languages. She can run 2 km in less than 20 minutes in a well coordinated pattern of movement. She successfully learned how to do independent round trips on the monkey bars and learned how to brachiate backwards! Brachiation on the monkey bars has improved not just Vika’s hand-eye coordination but also her ability to use two hands together. Watch her brachiate in the video above.

Running, brachiation and other respiration programs have helped improve her respiration greatly. Better breathing has her speaking many more words of speech.

Congratulations, Vika!
